HEALING
Healing is a term that most people are familiar with when used in the arena of physical wounds or from an operations. However, not many are familiar with the meaning of healing when it comes to emotions or a mental state.
Before I continue, let’s define what healing means. In the area of emotional or mental, I believe healing is to become whole again, to rid oneself of the emotional or mental issues that has lead one to become downcast in spirit or learn how to live within the emotion, mental issue.
When we deal with our emotions and mental state, we must realize that they are connected. Unchecked emotions can lead to mental distress. Mental distress leads to showing or expressing emotions in an unhealthy manner.
As humans, we all have emotions. Our emotions tell us where we are at a certain moment. Emotions are used to assist us in uncovering what can be underneath our hood, so to speak. Our emotions dictate how our body will respond to outside stimuli.
In order to move forward in any arena, we must heal ourself from the inside out. Healing is difficult. It’s not for the faint of heart. It is for those who understand the benefits healing has on our mind, body, and soul. It’s for those who desire to break the unhealthy cycles in life and see things from a fresh perspective.
Healing takes staying power to know that the work you put in will end in the best decision for you and those in your life. Healing not only involves achieving a better out look on life but also, a better life experience.
